Rosa Lee Manor Pilot Mountain NC Wedding {Jules+Michael}
It was cold and windy. So windy that the Chuppah wouldn't stay grounded, more than once catching flight + trying to sail away with the clouds. It took everyone present on this day to make this wedding a success. Not one complained despite the fridged weather, everyone worked together to hold the Chuppah long enough for the ceremony, there wasn't a single guest that complained about sitting outdoors for the ceremony, and even the bridesmaids stood the cold without their shaws because if the bride was going to be cold...so were they. I was so proud of all the wedding vendors, they did everything they had to with a smile on their face... All for Michael + Julia, because it meant so much to them to have an outdoor wedding and by golly, they did (and it was beautiful)!
To know these two, means there is never a dull moment in life. They live through laughter and are such generous people, they radiate human kindness. I have found two new, lifelong friends and I am so thankful that my work generates such meaningful relationships that last so much longer than just a "wedding photographer".
Throughout their 10 year courtship, Mike + Julia did quite a bit of traveling. I love how they incorporated their travels and souvenirs into their wedding details.
Judy, the hairstylist, has been doing Julia's hair since she was a little girl.
Michael suprised Julia and played "In Your Eyes" on guitar. It was one of my most favorite wedding moments ever!
